Is transit advertising effective?

We say YES.

Transit advertising is literally advertising on the move. It covers all advertising on interiors and exteriors of public transport vehicles, waiting stations, and terminals. This includes vehicle wraps, stickers, vehicle graphics, and mobiles among others.

More audience, less cost

The advantage of transit advertising is that it can’t be turned off like television, switched like radio stations, or leafed over like magazine pages. Moreover, it reaches markets of all demographics and psychology – 24/7! These at prices way lower than broadcast and print media advertising. In short, you get a wider audience but less advertising expenses.

Mobile advertisements are like billboards – except they move around different routes allowing more people to view your message daily. These are also more cost-effective than the traditional advertising media since there’s no competition when it comes to ad space.

How much (or how less) do transit advertisements cost? Estimating, transit ads would only cost around P10, 000 to P40, 000 a month per vehicle in comparison to a 30-second primetime spot in a top TV network for P200, 000 to P400, 000. That’s only the price for vehicle wraps. Other transit collaterals such as stickers cost less.

Now that’s creative and economical advertising!
