E.nopi and Lots'a Pizza at the 2010 Franchise Expo!

The 18th Philippine International Franchise Conference and Expo is in its last two days in the SMX Convention Center. The Philippine Franchise Association, the leading organization of franchisers in the country, launched the annual event last Wednesday with the theme “Getting Ready for the World.”

The Expo is open to visitors – prospecting franchisees, professionals, and students – for a fee of P100. And of course, Alchemy was there at the first day of the Expo, rubbing elbows with business owners and representatives – learning more about franchising and business while prospecting clients.

A Fiesta atmosphere fills the convention center as businesses of all sorts showcased attractive booths and random gimmicks for the visitors. The representatives and even the owners are all pumped up to promote their businesses. Free taste, knick-knacks, promos, and interactive booths – the Expo will surely max out your energy for one whole day! (And with that, we’d love to give a Happy Hyper Award to…the Happy Haus girls! Go and see what we mean.)

There’s a wide variety of businesses that you can check out – from big leagues to starting entrepreneurs. For the food industry, there’s Lots’a Pizza, Jollibee, Goodah, Chowking, and Master Siomai among others; oil suppliers like SeaOil, Caltex, and UniOil; educational institutions like E.nopi; beauty and skin care like Hollywood Nails; even foreign businesses seeking franchisees in the country like Baskin Robbins; and a whole lot more!

The Expo carries on until tomorrow at the SMX Convention Center. Entrance fee is P100.
