2010 London International Awards

The London International Awards will celebrate its silver anniversary on November 8 at Troxy. The LIA honours creativity in the Advertising industry.

It was the first international award program in London – the first to accept creative entries from all across the globe.

There are 11 categories of media for judging: Billboard, Design, Digital, Integrated Campaign, Non-Traditional, Package Design, Poster, Print, Radio, Television/Cinema/Online Film, and The NEW Category (aptly named, as it was introduced only in 2009).

Four entries from the Philippines are shortlisted. TBWA Santiago Mangada Puno vies for an award in Design with their “Touch-Small Table, Touch-Big Table” entry (Shangri-La); DDB DM9 JaymeSyfu contends in the Poster category with “Rollercoaster” (Mini Cooper); and Ace Saatchi and Saatchi competes for two awards with their Vespa entries in the Print category.

The juries are headed by eight big names in the Advertising industry: Marcello Serpa of AlmapBBDO Sao Paulo, Garick Hamm of Williams Murray Hamm London, Rei Inamoto of AKQA, David Nobay of Droga 5 Australia, Josh Rabinowitz of Grey Group New York, Terry O’Reilly of Pirate Toronto, Rocky Morton of MJZ Los Angeles, and Faris Yakob of MDC Partners New York.

Barbara Levy, Founder and President, has been spearheading the organization for 25 years.
